"Environmental Sensitivity."
April 29, 2008 by Mike StrawbridgeOur bodies are constantly being bombarded by toxins in our environment. Everything from artificial lighting to smoke to electromagnetic radiation can have a harmful effect on our wellness.
In order to remain healthy in this environment, we need to make sure that our bodies are functioning at peak performance levels. We must allow the body to filter out the toxins as well as provide them with the proper raw materials.
Many environmental factors cause free radicals to be formed in the blood and tissues. Free radicals are incomplete electron clouds looking for a site to react with. These free radicals can bind with cells in undesirable ways creating disease in the tissues.
There are a number of naturally occurring food that will trap free radicals and bind them before they can do much harm. Blueberries, cranberries and elderberries are a few examples. But these are not the foods most people have access to in out modern fast food world.
When was the last time you ate an elderberry? And if you are eating such a diet, you probably would not be reading this anyway. So, if you want to give your body a boost, try a free radical trapping supplement. You want a supplement that has a high Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity.
Also, you want a supplement that is easily absorbed by the body. It does not do any good to take an expensive supplement only to have your body expel most of it without it ever entering your blood stream.
Click here to lean more about a supplement that has a very high ORAC value and has a unique delivery system that allows for virtually instant delivery into the blood stream. It is like an IV without the needle.
