"Stomach ache and stomach pain."
November 13, 2008 by Mike Strawbridge
Stomach and abdominal pain is
one of the most common ailments. Almost
every one suffers from this from time to time. Usually we attribute stomach pain to something that we have eaten.
Often this is the case but at other times even with careful eating habits
you can still suffer form stomach pain.
Often they body is quite literal in its expression of your emotions. When you have a stomach pain, immediately think about some thing or someone that you just can’t stomach. Often changes in life that are unsettling will be expressed as a stomach pain.
How well we assimilate new ideas and new experiences emotionally will effect how the stomach functions. When we are afraid, the stomach stops digesting food.
Part of this response is the
body’s fight or flight response. When
you feel threatened, you body prepares to fight or flee.
Digestion stops and energy is transferred in to the muscles for action.
If action is not taken, the stress hormones remain in the blood stream
and further confuse the digestive process.
If you find yourself dealing
with a stomach ache, try this affirmation:
I digest new ideas with ease.
Life agrees with me. Nothing can
irritate me. I am safe and at peace.
One simple exercise that can help rebalance the energy around your stomach and relieve lots of stomach issues is listed below:
Natural Stomach Healing Exercise
- Find a comfortable position either in a chair or a bed that you can sit and allow your feet to be flat on the floor and your thighs parallel to the floor. Your spine will have to be erect and straight.
- Place your left palm on the stomach area a little towards the left of the abdominal cavity.
- As you inhale, slowly move the palm of your right hand away from your chest, focusing and fixing your eyes on the tip of your fingers. When you are pushing your hand and arm forward, feel that you are pushing a heavy object with the heal of your hand. Allow your eyes to intently follow the movement of your right hand with the exercise.
- When exhaling, slowly bring your right hand back to your chest
- Repeat this in and out movements 7 times.
Side note: When moving your hand away from your chest, notice the band of energy moving out of your stomach. Your right hand is draining the energy. Your left hand absorbs new energy into the stomach. In order for this exercise to be effective, you must focus deeply on what you are doing. This exercise must be done slowly with total synchronization of your breath, mind, and hand movements.
EFT
If you need further assistance
in bringing your body back into balance, EFT is a good tool for stomach aches.
Often the results are instantaneous.
To learn more about how to use EFT and
improve your ability to treat yourself
and others, I recommend you get Gary Craig’s free EFT manual or better yet get
the DVD series where you can see how EFT is administered to a variety of
ailments. Click

For those times when food or other irritants have actually stressed the stomach lining, try drinking aloe juice. A good source for aloe juice is this web site: http://www.free2bme.ws
